OVERVIEW

We have a long-standing relationship dating to 1999 as
the principle scaffolding contractor for both the minerals sands minesite in Cataby and the processing plant in Muchea.

THE CHALLENGES

Cataby and Muchea are complex facilities with access required to unusually shaped structures. Maintenance and emergency work requires fast action, a clear plan and well-orgainsed approach. Shutdowns must be completed within a limited window to plan, erect and dismantle operations.

Whatever the project, it needs to be delivered safely and its vital there is clear communication with all key stakeholders from Tronnox, their contractors and tradespeople.

THE OUTCOME

Throughout our tenure, and for each and every project, our management team and experienced scaffolders have consistently delivered on Tronnox’s objectives of minimising downtimes, staying safe and controlling costs.

We’ve devised innovative solutions and labour saving devices including circular cone access, protective nets, mobile travelling platforms and our MOSY trucks (Mobile Onsite Scaffold Yards)Over the past 10 years , over 10,000 man hours have been completed without safety incident.
