ScafWest worked to provide scaffolding access to various locations on the Kiln 5 Stack. This including many full perimeter scaffolds at the 120m level plus a swing stage monorail system from 100m to ground level.

The team faced a few challenges including weather, complexity of design, height, safety systems used and lastly the working environment.

We had to ensure the design was to use minimal scaffold equipment for efficiency. We also make it possible to have a constant onsite competent ScafWest personnel during complete swing stage works for pre-start checks and swing-stage relocations.

The ScafWest team created a safe working environment so that DTH could complete their scope of work with zero incidents or injuries, to time and budget whilst following all site specific rules and regulations.
